History of the CFPA

In
2005, a group of Instructor Pilots at Luke AFB met for farewell lunch
because one of the girls was about to leave the Active Duty AF. We
realized how strange it was that there were 6 girls in flight suits at a
table together. Since most of us had never been stationed with
another chick fighter pilot, we realized that it was a unique opportunity
for camaraderie and friendship and we decided to try and meet monthly for
a casual lunch. We laughed about how we could get patches or a name for our little group and that's how the Chick Fighter Pilot Association or "CFPA" began. Word spread quickly and soon we were hearing from girls all over, including those from other airframes.

ELMENDORF AVIATRIXES The F-15 girls from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, were working on their own charter group...the SPA (Society of Pioneer Aviatrixes). They had a 4 ship of Eagle drivers and 2 Strike Eagle WSOs who had a vision to strengthen the mutual support among all fighter chicks. With Elmo's plans, they brought new ideas to the CFPA and nearly doubled the current size of the group. Now, they're full up as the Elmendorf F-15 CFPA. SEYMOUR JOHNSON
